1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Outlier Lab, a product operated by JOHNLEEGROUP LIMITED, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 08350293), 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, England.

By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Outlier Lab is an AI-powered script generation platform for short-form video creators on TikTok and Instagram Reels. The service includes:

• Automated voice profile extraction from your public social media videos
• Niche intelligence reports based on publicly available high-performing content
• AI-generated video scripts incorporating your voice profile and niche data
• Script quality analysis and scoring

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Outlier Lab. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date

You may not share your account or allow others to access the service through your credentials. We may suspend accounts showing signs of unauthorised sharing.

4. Plans and billing

Outlier Lab offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. Plan features are described on the pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD.
• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• We reserve the right to change Pro pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.
• If a payment fails, we will retry for a reasonable period. Continued failure may result in downgrade to the Free plan.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Outlier Lab to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform
• Circumvent usage limits or share access between multiple users on a single account
• Use the service to train competing AI models without our written consent
• Provide false information to extract another person's voice profile

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, immediately and without refund where violations are serious.

6. Your content and IP

You retain ownership of all content you provide — including your social media handle, video content accessed for voice extraction, and any scripts generated for you.

By using the service, you grant JOHNLEEGROUP LIMITED a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the service (e.g. transcribing your videos to build your voice profile). We do not use your personal content to train AI models for other users.

AI-generated scripts produced by the service are yours to use freely for commercial purposes. We make no warranty that generated output is original or free from third-party rights — you are responsible for verifying suitability before publication.

7. Third-party platforms

Voice extraction relies on publicly accessible content from TikTok and Instagram. By providing a handle, you confirm that you have the right to process the content associated with it and that doing so does not violate the terms of those platforms. We are not affiliated with TikTok or Instagram and do not guarantee continued access to their data.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that generated scripts will achieve any particular performance outcome, engagement rate, or viral result. Script quality depends on many factors outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JOHNLEEGROUP LIMITED's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. Where possible, we will give reasonable notice before termination.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, you may also have rights under the law of your country of residence that these Terms cannot override.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
